Jordan Reed, Adam Weber to join Washington State Potato Commission

Nominations were held for two grower-elected member positions on the Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC), the commission announced recently. All submitted nominations ran unopposed and those growers were automatically elected to serve on the Washington State Potato Commission.

  • Adam Weber from Quincy, Washington, was elected to District 1, Position 2, formerly held by Rex Calloway, also from Quincy.
  • Jordan Reed from Pasco, Washington, was elected to District 2, Position 8, formerly held by Ted Tschirky, also from Pasco.

Both newly elected commissioners will begin their three-year term of service on July 1, 2019. The commission thanked Calloway and Tschirky for more than a decade of service helping better the Washington potato community.
