The machine, which can accommodate cylinders, squares or custom shapes, features a user-friendly interface and easy-to-clean design that results in quicker testing cycles and shorter time-to-market for new products, according to the release.

“Idaho Steel Products is proud to introduce the Nex-Gem Lab Former — a groundbreaking solution that empowers processors to shape the future of food,” Jon Christensen, vice president of sales for Idaho Steel Products, said in the release. “This revolutionary innovation embodies our commitment to fostering creativity and driving food industry advancements.”

Idaho Falls-based Idaho Steel has manufactured and installed potato processing equipment since 1918.
