Potato salad product recalled because of hard plastic concerns

Reser’s Fine Foods is voluntarily recalling a potato salad product because of the possibility of hard plastic foreign material in the package.

Supermarket chain H-E-B announced the recall of Hill Country Fare Mustard Potato Salad on July 2. The 48-ounce item, with a use by date of July 26, 2024, was produced at a regional Reser’s facility and distributed to H-E-B and Joe V’s Smart Shop locations in Texas only, according to a news release from H-E-B.

All affected product has been removed from shelves, according to the release. No injuries have been reported.

There is no recall notice on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s webpage.
