A webinar scheduled for next month is aimed at helping potato farmers and industry professionals maximize the longevity of potato crops during the critical initial storage phase.
The North American Potato Storage Organization will present “Potato Storage: The First 45 Days” on Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. EST.
The webinar will provide insight into best practices that ensure optimal storage conditions as well as access to the latest research, advice and strategies tailored to storage needs, whether for fresh market, processing or seed purposes.
Featured topics will include disease control, sprout control and the importance of maintaining temperature and humidity.
