National Potato Council unveils revamped, expanded website

This week, the National Potato Council released a new website to better support its mission of “Standing Up for Potatoes on Capitol Hill.”

“This new website (www.nationalpotatocouncil.org) is an essential piece of our communications strategy. NPC Communications Director Mark Szymanski spent many hours overseeing our development team and providing input and direction in order to deliver an entirely new look that will inform, educate, and accurately reflect this great industry,” said Kam Quarles, NPC CEO.

The site, developed with its partners at Matrix Group, provides the organization with a modern, responsive platform that:

  • Better demonstrates NPC’s thought leadership in Washington, D.C. and throughout the ag community;
  • Ensures key users — growers, policymakers, media, industry partners, and the general public — are provided insight into the organization’s policy priorities and activities; and
  • Highlights the positive impact of the potato industry on the U.S. economy, the environment, and the nutritional welfare of American families.

Users are also encouraged to sign up to join the grassroots D.C. Potato Team to receive updates when NPC needs help advocating for specific policy priorities.

The NPC issued special thanks to Bill Shaefer for providing many of the videos and images featured on the site.
