Maine board names Nightingale Farms’ Curtis Harrison as 2019 Young Farmer of the Year

The Maine Potato Board has named Curtis Harrison of Nightingale Farms its 2019 Young Farmer of the Year.

Nightingale Farms is located in New Limerick in eastern Maine near the New Brunswick border. Harrison operates the farm with his uncle, Frank “Buzz” Nightingale. Harrison is a fourth-generation farmer. He and wife Karla have a 4-year-old son, Chauncey, and a 2-year-old, daughter, Ruby.

Harrison will be recognized at the 2019 annual meeting of the Maine Potato Board next summer.
