The first generation of Simplot Plant Sciences Innate bioengineered potato seed has been issued proprietary names.
The names and varieties are:
- Cultivate – Innate Russet Burbank
- Generate – Innate Ranger Russet
- Accelerate – Innate Atlantic
- Invigorate – Innate Snowden
The Innate potato seed will not be available on the open market. Growers will need to contract directly with Simplot and provide assurance of meeting specific stewardship requirements. For more information, contact Simplot Plant Sciences.
