The United States Potato Board (USPB) recently announced that the first commercial shipment of United States table-stock potatoes arrived in Vietnam.

A shipment of just over 14 metric tons comprised of russet, red, yellow flesh and purple potatoes arrived in Ho Chi Minh City

Importers in Vietnam currently have import permits allowing them to bring in U.S. table-stock potatoes through December and the USPB will help find U.S. exporters to meet this demand,” John Toaspern, USPB international Marketing Vice President said in a USPB press release.
