The U.S. Potato Board (USPB) launched the inaugural Spud Nation food truck at the POTATO EXPO 2016. The food truck represents a move by the USPB into proactive, demand-building marketing for potatoes.
Following the EXPO luncheon and keynote address by Chef Jeff Henderson on Wednesday, Jan. 13, Blair Richardson, President and CEO of the (USPB), unveiled the food truck to EXPO attendees.
Richardson said the USPB is making plans for a second food truck this spring and will re-evaluate the program next year. He would like to see 500 Spud Nation food trucks around the country eventually.
