Jun 12, 2025Northland Potato Growers awards trio of scholarships
The Northland Potato Growers Research and Education Foundation has awarded a trio of $2,500 scholarships to students who will continue their education.
The three winners of the annual scholarships are:
- Kaydence VanRay, daughter of Jane and Matt VanRay (NPGA Grower Member) of Pingree, North Dakota, who will attend Bismarck State College
- Mattia Braun, daughter of Michael (Potato Associate Member) and Lynnae Braun of Thompson, North Dakota, who will attend the University of North Dakota
- Tyler Rossow, son of Travis and Jessica Rossow and grandson of Maurel Mattson (Potato Associate Member) of Flasher, North Dakota, who will attend Bismarck State College
Biographies of each recipient will be featured in the July/August issue of the Northland Potato Grower magazine.
