The USDA is accepting offers to sell fresh potatoes and sweet potatoes for use in the National School Lunch Program and other federal nutrition plans.
Bids may be submitted until 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, according to a USDA statement.
The procurement is for 5- and 10-pound bags of russet and round white potatoes, as well as 3- and 12-pound bags of sweet potatoes.
Acceptances will be announced by midnight Nov. 8, according to the USDA.
Deliveries are to be made between Jan. 8 and June 25, 2025.
