Sun-Glo of Idaho has announced the hiring of potato industry veteran Tron Crumley to its sales team. He joined the organization effective April 15.
Crumley joins the Sun-Glo of Idaho with nearly 25 years of industry experience having lead sales of both fresh and dehydrated potatoes for Idaho-based produce companies like Nonpareil, RPE and most recently Pro-Heath. Now, in his new role, Crumley will build upon Sun-Glo’s retail, wholesale and foodservice sales programs.
“My career has been single-mindedly focused on the potato industry. I am also the grandson of Idaho potato farmers, so selling potatoes is in my blood.” Crumley’s dedication to his own family led him to Sun-Glo to join the tight-knit Crapo family. “Sun-Glo’s level of customer service makes a positive difference to the bottom line. I¹m looking forward to being an integral part of this service-forward, family-oriented business, working closely with the Sun-Glo team to unlock further sales opportunities.”
