Schafer Names Promotion Board Members

Agriculture Secretary Ed Schafer has appointed 31 growers to serve on the National Potato Promotion Board (now known as the United States Potato Board) for terms beginning March 1, 2009, and ending on Feb. 29, 2012.

Reappointed to the board as producer members are: Kent Bitter, Shelley, Idaho; Tom Church, Wilder, Idaho; Nick Cummins of Murtaugh, Idaho; Melanie Ann Likes, Shelley, Idaho; Ronald Lockwood, Eden, Idaho; Shane Webster, Rexburg, Idaho; Tim Young, Coral, Mich.; Jimmy Harrell, Elizabeth City, N.C.; John Christoffel Probasco, Chesterfield, N.J.; Todd Michael, Urbana, Ohio; and Jeff Urbach, Sherwood, Ore.
