Potato Expo is headed to Austin, Texas, Jan. 9-10.
Potato Expo 2019 will feature the Innovation Hub, along with networking events, industry thought leaders and more than 180 exhibitors offering business solutions and trends.
The expo will welcome Roy Spence to the stage as keynote speaker at the 2019 show. Spence, an entrepreneur, CEO, best-selling author and “Adman of the Century,” will focus his presentation on the power of purpose. He will discuss how the most successful organizations and most beloved brands have a purpose beyond profit and are motivated by creating an environment that makes a positive difference in the lives of the people they serve.
Simon Majumdar, a broadcaster, author and TV personality, will present a live cooking demonstration. He will also host the Spud Nation Throwdown, in which local chefs from around Austin will compete to see who takes the title of “Top Spud.”
Innovation hub sessions will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursday, Jan. 10, sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
