Jul 19, 2023Potato shipper to be featured at IFPA Foodservice Conference
A network of potato and onion shippers will be among the hundreds of exhibitors and buyers displaying their wares at the the International Fresh Produce Association’s Foodservice Conference, set for July 28 in Monterey, California.
Produce and service suppliers can connect with buyers and network with 192 exhibitors at the event.
Fresh Solutions Network will be featuring its A Cut Above line of fresh whole, whole-peeled and fresh-cut potatoes. The three-tier program includes whole white and russet potatoes packed in 50-pound bags and cartons, whole-peeled potatoes in 30-pound bags and 30-pound cartons of fresh-cut wedges, steak fries, sliced potatoes and diced potatoes. A kosher option is available for all whole and fresh-cut potatoes.
Fresh Solutions Network is a group of family-owned growers and shippers whose members own the land, cultivate the crops and pack and the products.
Among the 235 buyers expected to attend the IFPA conference are US Foods, Aramark, Baldor Specialty Foods, California Pizza Kitchen, Diversified Restaurant Systems, FreshEdge, Gold Star Foods, HelloFresh, Hungryroot, McDonalds Corp., Performance Food Group, Sysco Corp. and Whataburger Restaurants LLC.
School districts from across the country will also be represented.
