Potato LEAF Leadership Institute application deadline approaches

The deadline to submit applications for the Potato Leadership, Education, and Advancement Foundation (Potato LEAF)’s 2026 Leadership Institute is Oct. 17.

The 10-day program provides tools to help growers and U.S. potato industry members develop leadership capabilities.

Participants will confront challenges and issues beyond the production sector and gain insight into the roles of the industry’s state and national organizations in maintaining a positive business climate for potato growers.

The 2026 program will take place in Florida before a Feb. 18-27 trip to Washington, D.C.

Participants must also complete a capstone project, with the top projects being presented at the 2027 Potato Expo.
