Harvest Bowl program to celebrate NDSU agriculture, education

The 51st annual Harvest Bowl program, to be held Nov. 14-15 at North Dakota State University, will include a dinner and awards program, educational sessions and the Harvest Bowl football clash between NDSU and Northern Iowa.

The dinner and awards program will take place Nov. 14 at the Red River Valley Fair Association in West Fargo, while the game will be played Nov. 15 in Fargo. Also on Nov. 15, honorees will participate in educational sessions and tours on the NDSU campus.

The Harvest Bowl program recognizes the success and dedication of agriculturists in 53 counties in North Dakota and 10 counties in western Minnesota. As the state’s land-grant university, NDSU plays a major role in contributing knowledge through research, academic programs and Extension services.

More than 3,000 agriculturists have been recognized and more than $1.5 million in scholarships have been awarded to NDSU student athletes studying agriculture, business or premed and come from an agricultural background. An agribusiness award recipient in the field of agriculture and business in North Dakota and beyond is chosen annually.

The 2025 NDSU Harvest Bowl Agribusiness Award recipient is Carl Larson, founder and former board chair of corn processing plant ProGold and founding member of Gooseneck Implement. ProGold, born from Golden Growers Cooperative, will be acquired by Cargill for $81 million in 2026.
