NPGA taking applications for new executive director

The Northland Potato Growers Association is searching for candidates with a passion for agriculture and the ability to affect change to serve as its new executive director.

Applications are due May 15, according to a statement from the NPGA.

“Our staff carry out the mission of our organization — to promote profitability and unity of the potato growers of the adjoining states of Minnesota and North Dakota through the development and promotion of quality potatoes and potato products,” Peter Imle, NPGA board chair, said in the statement. “It is important we find a candidate who is committed to the success of the potato industry here in North Dakota and Minnesota.”

The application and additional information are available online.

NPGA expects to announce a new executive director this summer.
