Oct 3, 2025Acquisitions expand Tessenderlo Kerley’s soil fumigation portfolio
Tessenderlo Kerley has expanded its soil fumigation portfolio by acquiring Eastman’s U.S. and Canadian metam fumigant labels.
The company acquired Eastman’s metam sodium (CLRTM 42%) and metam potassium (KLRTM 54%) product labels, according to a news release.
“This strategic action brings together Eastman’s trusted Metam-based soil fumigants with Tessenderlo Kerley’s deep expertise in agricultural chemistry, technical support and stewardship, resulting in a stronger, more accessible product line designed to help growers protect their crops, improve soil health and maximize yield potential,” Russell Sides, Tessenderlo Kerley executive vice president, said in the release.
U.S and Canadian growers will benefit from Tessenderlo Kerley’s distribution network, said the company, which plants to launch updated stewardship programs focused on safe handling, regulatory compliance and integrated pest management.

Based in Phoenix, Tessenderlo Kerley produces liquid fertilizers and produces and markets crop nutrition and crop protection products.
