Sep 15, 2022US technical team grows with addition of Larissa Dawson
1,4GROUP Inc. is eager to announce the arrival of Larissa Dawson to the Research, Development, and Innovation team, based out of Idaho Falls, Idaho. A graduate of the University of Idaho, Dawson has been working with potatoes since 2008 in a myriad of industry sectors. She has gained hands-on expertise in growing, marketing, production, operations, packing and shipping of fresh potatoes and minitubers. She has also dabbled in variety development and product management before joining 1,4GROUP in September 2022 as a technical advisor.
She is excited to help support the US team in both research and sales. Her dedication to the industry and willingness to decrease customer crop loss is inspirational. She is looking forward to learning more about the storage and application side of the potato industry and applying how 1,4GROUP’s research helps with crop returns and a reduction in food waste.
Whether alone or with her husband and two daughters, the wilderness is her happy place, especially when there is peanut butter involved. When not helping customers in the field or researching everything potato related in the office, Dawson enjoys baking treats, eating potato chips, and running trail ultramarathons (up to 62 miles long).
