Sym-Agro adds ag veteran to lead Southern California sales

An agricultural veteran has joined biopesticide solutions provider Sym-Agro to lead its sales efforts in Southern California. Adam Cholakian is the company’s new Southern California sales manager

An agricultural veteran has joined biopesticide solutions provider Sym-Agro to lead its sales efforts in Southern California.

Adam Cholakian is the company’s new Southern California sales manager, focusing on Central Valley specialty crop markets from Madera south.

Cholakian brings more than 25 years of experience in agriculture, including roles in farm management and retail market management and 15 years working on the manufacturing side of the industry. Most recently, he served as a technical sales rep with AMVAC Chemical Corp.

Cholakian has a bachelor’s degree in plant science from California State University in Fresno.

“We feel very fortunate to have Adam representing the Sym-Agro portfolio of biopesticide products,” Sym-Agro president and CEO Peter Bierma said in a news release. “He is well known and highly respected in the agricultural community, and we’re confident he will continue to strengthen relationships with our distribution partners.”
