Apr 3, 2025Sprague celebrates national honor, promotion of team members
Colorado-based pest control company Sprague is celebrating a national honor as well as the promotion of a trio of team members.
Regional manager Lindsey Marker has been named a recipient of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) 2025 Impact Award for Women in Pest Management. Marker joined Sprague in 2007 as a route manager and was promoted to operations manager, branch manager and district manager before being named regional manager earlier this year.
“Lindsey is a transformative leader who brings out the best in others,” Shane Hartnett, Sprague director of operations, said in a news release. “She leads with both strength and compassion, and we are thrilled the industry is recognizing her incredible impact.”
In addition, three Sprague employees have been promoted into leadership positions:
- Jeremy Hundley, regional entomologist: Since joining Sprague in 2017, Hundley has demonstrated technical excellence and a commitment to service. As a route manager, he ranked in the top 10% of all route managers for seven consecutive years and was named technician of the year in 2023.
- James Mulllen, branch manager: Mullen began his career at Sprague in 2018 as a route manager before advancing to operations manager in 2021.
- Walter Parada, operations manager: Parada joined Sprague in 2018 as a route manager and soon achieved recognition in the top 10% of technicians.
“These promotions reflect the strength of our internal talent and our dedication to developing leaders who live our values and deliver exceptional service,” Hartnett said. “It’s exciting to see how these individuals have grown within the company and how their leadership will help shape the future of Sprague.”
