Advan LLC became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sipcam Agro USA Inc. on Sept. 1, according to the companies.
The Advan product family, which includes traditional and biorational products for the professional turf and ornamental, specialty agriculture and home and garden markets in the United States and Mexico, remains unchanged. Core Advan personnel will continue to serve customers while providing ongoing continuity and expertise for future expansion of the product portfolio.
The change will allow Advan to focus on growing segments of the market, including the rapidly expanding organic market, according to the company. New products from global partners will be launched in the United States by Advan.
Advan was formed in 2005 by Mitsui & Co. of Japan and the Sipcam-Oxon Group of Italy and owned 50:50 by their respective U.S. subsidiaries, Certis USA and Sipcam Agro USA. The company is headquartered in Roswell, GA.
