Jul 27, 2012Simplot expands fertilizer plant
The J.R. Simplot Company will expand it Rock Springs, Wyo., fertilizer manufacturing facility. Work will begin immediately.
Simplot’s first expansion phase will increase dry phosphate production by more than 30 percent. The expansion will include provisions for future capacity growth in both liquid and dry fertilizers.
The initial stage is expected to be operating by early 2014.
