Registration open for Potato Scout School

Registration is now open for the 2017 Potato Scout School, presented by North Dakota State University and the University of Minnesota. The meeting will be held Feb. 23 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota, from 1 p.m. to 5 pm. This is on the second day of the International Crop Expo.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide training on scouting for potato diseases, insects, weeds and other potato production principles. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required to attend this event, as there are only 50 seats available.

Topics covered will include:

  • Potato diseases
  • Scouting for insects
  • Seed handling and cutting
  • Scouting for weeds and herbicide damage

Registration can now be done for an individual or as a group with one payment submitted. Registration fees will help cover costs for the room, lunch and materials. CEU credits will also be available.
