Chris Jevne, a senior produce sourcing manager for Walmart and longtime member of the potato industry, died Nov. 19. He was 54.

Jevne had been a senior produce sourcing manager for Walmart since 2010. He was based in Yakima, Washington. He was previously a sales manager for Basin Gold, a Washington-based grower-shipper coop, from 2001 to 2010. He also had stints at Columbia Packaging and Volm Companies.
Jevne was a native of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1985.
