Potato Expo Innovation Hub now accepting ideas for 2019

The Potato Expo Innovation Hub is now open and accepting abstract submissions for Potato Expo 2019, which takes place Jan. 9-10 in Austin, Texas.

Located on the trade show floor, the Potato Expo Innovation Hub will be the center of education programming for the event and will include presentations, panel discussions and research findings, according to Expo organizers. Session options include a variety of topics such as production, research, consumer trends, food safety, globalization, food service, labor, and use of marketing and social media to increase sales and more.

All proposals must be submitted by July 31 via http://potato.onscore.net. Members of the Potato Expo community will be invited to vote on the topics they find most interesting. Accepted submissions will be announced Sept. 15, 2018.

Dwayne Weyers, Potato Expo 2019 co-chair, said in the first year of the Innovation Hub many sessions were “standing room only” and attendees walked away with many new tools to help their businesses grow
