Potato Expo 2021 accepting submissions for presenters, discussions

The National Potato Council is currently accepting submissions for Potato Talk sessions at the 2021 Potato Expo. The event is scheduled for Jan. 6-7 in Grapevine, Texas.

Topics include:

  • Advancements in production agriculture
  • On-farm solutions
  • Current trends
  • Advancements in research
  • Business management
  • Economic outlook

All sessions will be 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes of one-on-one questions and answers. Sessions can be a single speaker or panel discussion.

The National Potato Council is currently on track to host the Potato Expo 2021 as an in-person event. However, sessions may ultimately be presented live and/or virtually.

“The health, safety and well-being of the potato industry and our partners is our top priority and we are monitoring state, federal and global health guidelines related to COVID-19. As plans evolve we will share information. If your submission is approved and needs to be delivered in a virtual format we will notify you so you can prepare accordingly,” the NPC stated.

Members of the Potato Expo community will be invited to vote on the submission topics they find most interesting. All proposals must be submitted by August 31, 2020. Accepted submissions will be notified by October 1, 2020.

The submission platform and more details can be found here.
