Tim O’Connor, former president and CEO of the U.S. Potato Board, has started Tim O’Connor & Associates, a marketing and consulting agency specializing in the fresh food industry.Prior to starting the consulting group, O’Connor was the initial CEO of Avocados From Mexico. He was the USPB president and CEO from 1999 to 2013. Prior to that, he was executive vice president/CEO of the Illinois Beef Association for 12 years.
O’Connor received a bachelor of science in agriculture from Western Illinois University and a master of business administration from the University of Illinois.
