NPGA scholarship applications being accepted until May 13

Applications for Northland Potato Growers Association college scholarships are being accepted until May 13.

Sons, daughters, grandsons or granddaughters of NPGA grower members and potato associates are eligible, according to the organization.

Three $2,500 NPGA Research & Education Foundation scholarships and two $1,000 Potato Bowl USA Ambassador scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors or current college students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. Potato Bowl USA Ambassador scholarship applicants also must be able to participate in a few Potato Bowl events Sept. 10-14.

A committee will be selected to review applications and select recipients, according to the NPGA.
