New Nutrien product aims to maximize nitrogen availability, efficiency

Nutrien Ag Solutions is launching a three-pronged solution aimed at optimizing nitrogen availability and management.

According to a news release, N-FINITY increases nitrogen efficiency and improves plant health and crop yields by:

• Enhancing the soil’s ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen
• Recruiting nitrogen-fixing bacteria into the root zone
• Facilitating the liberation of nitrogen from soil organic pools

“We are excited to introduce N-FINITY to the US market for use in the 2025 growing season,” Casey McDaniel, vice president of Loveland Products, Nutrien’s proprietary products company, said in the release. “This product represents an advancement for the industry, providing growers with a new tool to enhance on-farm nitrogen management and yield potential.”

Researched and field tested for several years, N-FINITY consistently demonstrated yield benefits, said Ron Calhoun, Loveland Products plant nutrition senior manager.

“Designed to enhance the soil’s ability to fix, recruit and liberate nitrogen in the root zone, N-FINITY can help make every unit of nitrogen go farther,” Calhoun said.

N-FINITY will be available for purchase through Nutrien Ag retail locations this spring, the company said.
