New app available for ammonium sulfate use

Ammonium sulfate fertilizer producer AdvanSix has introduced a new version of ROSI (Return on Sulfur Investment), its agricultural app. The enhancements to the ROSI app are designed to help growers better estimate the per-acre or per-farm return they can expect by incorporating sulfur in their crop nutrition programs.

The ROSI app is designed to help farmers and fertilizer retailers quickly and simply determine the value that Sulf-N ammonium sulfate can bring to farming operations. Sulf-N provides efficient nitrogen and readily-available sulfur to a variety of crops. All ROSI app calculations are backed by sulfur response data from The Sulfur Institute and International Plant Nutrition Institute and require only simple inputs such as state, type of crop, price and application rates.

ROSI was introduced in 2014. The new version offers enhanced capabilities, such as incorporating additional nitrogen sources into the app’s data inputs, thereby improving its overall accuracy. The app also provides links to various educational videos on sulfur management.

The ROSI update is available for download in the App Store or Google Play.
