Sep 7, 2021NPC’s 2022 summer meeting heading to Nashville
After two years of virtual events, National Potato Council announced its in-person 2022 Summer Meeting, scheduled for June 21-24, will be held in Nashville, Tennessee.
NPC’s First Vice President Jared Balcom from Washington state said: “We look forward to bringing the industry together for a week of business and camaraderie in Music City. After a challenging two years for the organization, we are excited to host our policy meeting in a unique location that offers something for attendees and families alike. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced the past two Summer Meetings to be moved to a virtual environment. It is our hope that this travel-friendly location will provide a forum to highlight the tremendous work and leadership that NPC Presidents Dominic Lajoie and Britt Raybould provided the organization during these unprecedented times.”
Each summer, potato growers and industry leaders from across the country come together for public policy and organizational updates at NPC’s Summer Meeting. Meeting attendees participate in NPC’s Legislative, Environmental, Trade, and Grower Outreach and Industry Research, and Finance Committee meetings where a wide range of important topics to the grower community are discussed.
The 2022 meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown Convention Center.
