National ag trade organization looking for new leader

The National Council of Agricultural Employers (NCAE) is accepting applications for its president and CEO position until March 31.

Michael Marsh, who has led the national trade organization since 2017, is retiring at the end of 2025.

“Michael’s outstanding leadership has been integral to the success and growth of the Council,” Joel Anderson, chair of NCAE’s executive committee, said in a news release. “The Council is grateful for Michael’s commitment to America’s farming and ranching communities and his tireless efforts on behalf of agriculture.”

Ryan Ayres, vice chairman of NCAE’s executive committee and chair of the selection committee, said the organization is conducting a nationwide search for a candidate dedicated to supporting farm and ranch families.

“NCAE is looking for someone with vision, passion, and enthusiasm for America’s agricultural community to continue that trajectory with the same constant commitment to ethics and integrity,” Ayres said.

The application period is open through March 31. Interested candidates can learn more about the role and apply through the American Society of Association Executives Job Center.
