Jun 17, 2013Mobile app for potassium uptake introduced
Great Salt Lake Minerals (GSLM) recently released a mobile application, the Potato Potassium Uptake Calculator (PPUC), to aid potato growers and crop consultants in making accurate soil nutrient decisions when it comes to potassium fertilization.
The PPUC is available on the GSLM website here or can be downloaded to an iPad device at the Apple App store for free here. An android version for tablets will be available as soon as technical and legal issues are resolved.
The app is not optimized for the iPhone or android phones because the required data input is not for the small screen.
