Masser Potato Farms welcomes new director of foodservice sales

Charles “Chip” Callahan is joining Masser Potato Farms as director of foodservice sales, effective immediately. He joins the Masser team with over 30 years of foodservice experience leading the sales and marketing of both fresh and frozen produce companies as well as foodservice suppliers, like U.S. Foods.

In his new role, Callahan said he will elevate Masser’s foodservice program to new heights, and that it’s “time to make potatoes sexy again.”

“I learned early in my career as a restaurant owner/operator that in order to grow the business, you must do things differently, be creative and pleasantly surprise your customer,” Callahan said.

Brock Snyder, Masser Potato Farms vice president of sales and procurement, said the company has made significant progress in expanding value-added fresh and fresh-cut potato offerings through their Keystone Potato facility and that Callahan will help Masser keep growing.
