Marrone Bio Innovations, a developer of biological crop protection and plant health solutions, has appointed TerraLink Horticulture as a distributor of its Regalia Maxx Biofungicide in western Canada.
TerraLink has been a supplier of crop input products to western Canada since 1973. Based out of Abbotsford, British Columbia, TerraLink primary focuses on providing farmers, production managers and professional growers with a comprehensive suite of fertilizers, seeds, growing media, hard goods and crop protection products.
Regalia Maxx Biofungicide contains a plant extract made from the giant knotweed (Reynoutria sachalinensis) plant. It induces the plants’ natural defense mechanisms against tough fungal and bacterial diseases such as powdery mildew and gray mold (botrytis).
Regalia Maxx is registered for a wide range of crops, including potatoes. It can be used to combat rhizoctonia and verticillium wilt, among other diseases.
