The Maine Potato Board has two open positions. The organization is seeking a program and promotions coordinator as well as a greenhouse/laboratory assistant.
The programs and promotions coordinator will help tell the story of Maine potatoes, championing sustainability while working directly with farmers and partners across the state. Duties include gathering and sharing market insights, crafting public outreach campaigns and educational programs, and collaborating with industry growers and researchers.
The greenhouse/laboratory assistant is responsible for the propagation of plant materials and the maintenance of tissue culture in the lab, as well as the planting, maintenance and harvest of mini-tubers in the greenhouse.
