Feb 6, 2025Loveland seed lubricity agent receives recognition
A seed lubricity agent from crop nutrition company Loveland has been chosen from among 10 finalists as agricultural solutions magazine The Scoop’s 2024 New Product of the Year.
Awaken FlowBoost replaces traditional talc/graphite products with a corn-based agent that ensures optimal lubricity and micronutrient delivery, according to a news release from the company.
The product minimizes dust-off while helping farmers achieve early micronutrients and yield advantages through its compatibility with multiple planter systems and 99% effective seed singulation use rate, according to the company.
“This award not only underscores our commitment to innovation and teamwork but also reflects the trust and positive feedback from our customers,” Rian Bernhardt, Loveland’s crop protection marketing manager, said in the release. “Experiencing successful results and witnessing seamless ease of use of our product throughout the past year has been incredibly rewarding. We’re eager to see what 2025 has in store.”
Loveland Products is the proprietary products company for Nutrien Ag Solutions, offering a line of input products for use in seed treatment, plant nutrition, fertilizer, adjuvant and crop protection.
Other finalists included Envelix Prime, a microbial nutrient enhancer from DPH Bio, and phosphate fertilizer RhizoSorb, a Phospholutions product that reduces carbon emissions while boosting yields.
