Based in Grafton, North Dakota, Lockwood manufactures potato planters, windrowers, harvesters and handling equipment.
The move will reduce freight costs, translating into savings for customers, according to a news release.
“Over the past quarter century, our partnership with Struik has delivered tremendous value to our customers,” Tim Martin, director of Lockwood Manufacturing, said in the release. “Their commitment to quality and innovation aligns perfectly with our mission to provide growers with reliable, high-performance potato equipment that drives productivity and profitability in the field. And now that we are importing directly from Struik, we can save our growers money.”
