Lockwood Manufacturing has introduced its new Air-Controlled Separator. The Lockwood ACS-8 is a complete handling and cleaning system. With the aid of high velocity air, the ACS-8 removes rocks, dirt, vines and other debris while minimizing damage.
The ACS-8 has a 96-inch air chamber that first cleans debris by running the load over a full-width cleaning table, removing excess dirt and vines. The remaining contents move into the high-flow air chamber that elevates the potatoes into a high stream of air, lifting them onto the discharge conveyor while allowing stones to continue through.
