IPM workshop for WA growers and field scouts

Washington State University (WSU) Extension, the Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) and the Potato Foundation will team up to provide workshops for potato growers and field scouts on June 15, 1:00 – 4:00 PM, at WSU’s Othello Research Unit at 1471 West Cox Road, Othello, Washington. An additional session will be scheduled for June 30 if interest supports it. The session will start indoors and include discussions and presentations led by Tim Waters and Carrie Wohleb of WSU, and Matthew Blua of the WSPC. Following indoor activities, attendees will be taken outside to a potato field to demonstrate scouting, sticky traps and potato tuber moth traps. Each workshop will be limited to 20 attendees.
