Industry veteran tabbed as new chair of Potatoes USA

Eighth-generation farmer Dave Masser, president and CEO of Masser Family of Companies and former chair of Fresh Solutions Network, has been elected Potatoes USA’s new chair.

Potatoes USA is the national marketing and research organization representing U.S. potato growers and importers. The organization supports demand-building initiatives, consumer education, nutrition research and industry development. 

Fresh Solutions Network is the exclusive supplier of Side Delights potatoes and onions.

“Dave’s election as chairman of Potatoes USA is well-deserved recognition of his leadership, integrity and dedication to our industry,” Fresh Solutions Network president and CEO Kathleen Triou said in a news release.

“Throughout his career, Dave has developed a true talent for balancing the traditions of family farming with forward-thinking innovation to support and strengthen the potato business for growers, retailers, foodservice operators, and consumers.”

Fresh Solutions Network (FSN) is a group of family-owned potato and onion growers and shippers who help fresh potato and onion buyers grow their categories, maximize investment and increase sales.
