Idaho Potato Commission’s Jamie Bowen elected to IFEC conference board of directors

Idaho Potato Commission marketing manager Jamie Bowen has been elected to serve on the International Foodservice Editorial Council’s board of directors for its 62nd annual conference. Bowen’s term is for two years.

“There isn’t another organization where public relations/marketing professionals and editors come together to build processional and personal relationships,” Bowen said in a press release. “Sure, we all discuss trends and story ideas and stay true to the IFEC mission, but we all have fun in the process. I look forward to strengthening and growing IFEC so future members will know how truly lucky they are.”

Bowen has been with the IPC and an IFEC member for 10 years. She has served on several IFEC committees, including New-Member Orientation, Learning Sessions and Scholarship Auction.

Bowen is a native Idahoan and a graduate of Boise State University. She was named one of Produce Business’ Top 40 Under 40 in 2014.

The annual IFEC conference is held in Raleigh, North Carolina.
