Idaho growers honored

Potato Growers of Idaho (PGI) honored Randy and Karlene Hardy, of Oakley, with their PGI Grower of the Year Award. Randy and Karlene celebrate their 40-year wedding anniversary in June. They have five children and 26 grandchildren. Randy is the chairman of Sun Valley Potato Growers Inc., a grower-owned cooperative.
Dirk Parkinson, of St. Anthony, also was honored with the PGI Seed Grower of the Year award.
