The World Potato Congress is hosting a free webinar on challenges growing different breeds in the various regions around the globe.
The webinar, titled “Geographic Constraints in Potato Breeding: Role of Day Length, Temperature and Light Intensity in Selecting for Adaptation,” is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, March 8. It will be presented by potato scientist and grower Peter VanderZaag. The host is University of Idaho professor Nora Olsen.
