May 1, 2025Food + Farm Exploration Center receives $10,000 gift
The Food + Farm Exploration Center, part of Heartland Farms’ potato and vegetable operation in Plover, Wisconsin, has received a $10,000 gift to support its community outreach and education efforts.
The Midwest Food Products Association presented the center with a check to the center last month at an association event.
The center, which opened in December 2023, provides educational opportunities to learn about farming, food processing and other aspects of the food supply chain.
Members of the MWFPA board, including Chippewa Valley Bean’s Tricia Kwak and Del Monte’s Travis Hietpas, joined association president Nick Novak in presenting the check to the center.
Jeremie and Alicia Pavelski operate Heartland Farms in nearby Hancock, Wisconsin.
