Applications for the 2014-2015 Collegiate Future Farmers of America (FFA) Agriculture Ambassador team are now available.
Agriculture Ambassadors speak at local schools, colleges, and civic groups on the importance of sustainable agriculture in their communities. In return an ambassador receives a $1,000 scholarship, a digital camera, use of an LCD projector and travel compensation.
College sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students pursuing agricultural degrees are eligible. Ambassadors must be former FFA members, current collegiate FFA members or members of the national FFA alumni association. Each applicant must also be a full-time student the entire year they serve as an ambassador.
The application deadline is April 15, 2014, 5 p.m. EST.
The program is sponsored by BASF, Syngenta and CSX.
