Douches receives MSU honor
David Douches, professor in Michigan State University’s (MSU) department of plant, soil and microbial science, has been selected to receive the William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award.
Douches is one of four members of MSU’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) who have been selected to receive the award.
Mary Hausbeck, professor in the department of plant, soil and microbial science; Rick Horan, professor in the Department of agricultural, food and resource economics; and Gary Parson, specialist in the department of entomology also will receive the award.
The recipients will receive their awards Feb. 11 at the President’s State of the University address and the awards convocation at the Wharton Center.
CANR will host a reception for the recipients on Feb. 11 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Agricultural Hall Atrium prior to the awards convocation.
