The 2024 Farm Market Bus Tour, an eagerly awaited event for farm marketers and agritourism professionals, will take place on Monday, Dec. 9. This all-day tour offers a unique platform for learning and networking.
Taking place the day before the Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable & Farm Market EXPO, the tour is sponsored by Spudman’s sister publications Fruit Growers News and Vegetable Growers News.
Participants will explore some of West Michigan’s top farm markets, gaining valuable insights into the innovative strategies that local farmers use to reach consumers.
The bus tour combines networking opportunities, educational sessions and hands-on learning experiences with interactive discussions led by Michigan State University Extension educators.
Although the specific stops on the tour are yet to be announced, attendees can look forward to visiting a variety of farm markets known for their creative marketing approaches and successful agritourism models.
